Advising
Long-Term Advisory Partnerships
I establish deep, ongoing advisory relationships with a select number of technology companies. These partnerships are designed to provide consistent strategic guidance, accountability, and support as you navigate the complex challenges of building and scaling a technology business.
How Advisory Relationships Work
Minimum Commitment: 6 Months
Advisory relationships require a minimum 6-month commitment to ensure we have sufficient time to:
- Build deep understanding of your business and challenges
- Implement meaningful changes and see results
- Establish trust and effective working rhythms
- Navigate through at least one complete planning or development cycle
From Consulting to Advising
The best advisory relationships often begin with consulting engagements. This allows us to:
- Test our working relationship through shorter-term projects
- Demonstrate value before committing to a longer partnership
- Understand your needs and ensure I can provide meaningful impact
- Build trust through concrete deliverables and results
Typical Path:
- Start with 1-3 months of consulting work
- Evaluate mutual fit and value creation
- Transition to 6+ month advisory relationship
- Extend and deepen partnership as needed

- Business model and market dynamics
- Technical architecture and debt
- Team capabilities and gaps
- Cultural strengths and challenges
Sustained Impact
Long-term engagement enables:
- Iterative improvement rather than one-time fixes
- Relationship building with your entire team
- Accountability for implementing changes
- Measurement of actual outcomes
Trusted Partnership
Over time, I become:
- A trusted sounding board for difficult decisions
- An external perspective in internal debates
- A connector to my network of experts and resources
- An advocate for your success
Current Advisory Portfolio
I maintain advisory relationships with 3-5 companies at any given time to ensure each receives proper attention. Current focus areas include:
- B2B SaaS platforms
- Developer tools and infrastructure
